Material:

All of the material for the learning program will be posted online as the learning program progresses. The materials will be easily accessible, practical and relevant to AfL. You will be able to download all of the materials from the website.

Progression of the Learning Program:

There are 8 asynchronous and 8 synchronous meetings within the learning program. The teachers participating in the AfL group will be given tasks over the course of the learning program. These tasks will build on one another to culminate into a single final product. The tasks will guide you through a process of inquiry that addresses the practical nature of AfL in the classroom and in schools. The final product will reflect the inquiry process and it will be something that you can share within your colleagues to help build capacity in AfL within your school and district. By the end of this learning program, all participants will be more informed about AfL and how AfL properties can be incorporated into regular practice to enhance classroom assessment and teaching in general.

Your regular and active participation will affect the success of the online learning program.  At the end of this learning program, we anticipate that the participants will form a network that will prove supportive for improving classroom assessment practices and for building capacity in your working environment.
